Marijn van der Linden
is born in Curaçao in 1981. He started playing guitar at the age of 6, First classical, later on also electric. He finished his study (jazz) improvisation at the conservatory of Tilburg in 2005.
His passion is Brazilian music, he learned the Brazilian language and also plays cavaquinho and violão 7 cordas (7string guitar). Marijn plays in various groups, for which he also composes and arranges.
In 2012 he founded the Escola Portátil de Música Holanda, a musicschool/organisation specialized in Brazilian choro and samba, which is the first company of EPM (Rio de Janeiro) outside of Brazil.


Matthias Haffner
lives since 1996 in the Netherlands, where he graduated in 2002 at the “Codarts” Conservatory of Rotterdam in Latin American percussion. Since this time, he is a well known percussionist in world music and jazz and has an important role in the dissemination and development of Brazilian music in the Netherlands. Matthias has played with numerous bands and projects, including Zuco 103, Fernando Lameirnhas, Sensual, Lilian Vieira, Samba Soul and many others.

He had the honor to take lessons and master classes from major percussion masters such as:
Marcos Suzano, Guello, Mestre Marçal, Robertinho Silva, Silva Celsinho, Kiko Freitas, Changuito, Orestes Vilato, Armando Peraza, Ralph Irizarry, Michael Spiro, John Santos, Dom Um Romao, Luis Conte, Zohar Fresco, Carlo Rizzo and David Kuckhermann.


Remko de Landmeter
is a versatile musician wich brought him in contact with musicians from all over the world and he developped a flexible way of playing on the flute, altoflute, bassflute, bansuri and many other flutes in improvisation and worldmusic.
With a primary intention to extend the use of the flute he performs  classical music, jazz, Indian music, flamenco and Brazillian music and works for theatre and with dancers. He plays concerts all over Europe, Asia and South America. He is playing for radio, TV and is a frequently asked studio musician for CD recordings and film documentaries.

After his classical studies he started to play the 
bansuri, the bambooflute from India.
He studied Indian music at the Rotterdam World Music Acadamy and in India at the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Music College of India in New Delhi. He was taught by bansuriplayers Harsh Wardhan and Hari Prasad Chaurasia.

7- string guitar

Kees Gelderblom
was born in The Hague, Netherlands, in 1958, the year of emergence of Bossa Nova.
He bought his first guitar in 1976 and comes in contact with Brazilian music by hearing Luiz Bonfa on dutch radio. Took classical guitar lessons with Rob Bakker.
But it was the Brazilian guitarist Baden Powell responsible for the turnaround in his life.
In 1980, he moved to Brazil and is stays a year in Belo Horizonte.
In 1988, he graduated in classical guitar at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. During study until the year 1995, was part of the Grupo Tanga, led by drummer / vocalist Paulo Prata.
He travels to Brazil more often, delving into the music and culture, having been invited several times to give workshops and concerts in the state of Minas Gerais.
In 1995, he moved to Brazil, and he was taught at the Conservatory in Campo Grande and Viva Art Center. Currently he is teacher in Brazilian guitar at the Conservatory of Rotterdam.
